Recently, Hilaturas Mar hosted Jennifer Palumbo and Francesco Zaralli from Euratex, as well as Julia Vercher and María Climent from Ateval. Euratex and Ateval are associations that represent and support the textile industry at both the European and Valencian Community levels. Their mission is to promote synergies that drive innovation, research, and development in the textile sector.
During their visit, the experts assessed the progress of the project "New Hybrid Yarns with Carbon Fiber Core", within the framework of RegioGreenTex development and confirmed the increase of recycled carbon fiber (rCF) content in our yarns to 45%. We are currently conducting tests with concentrations of up to 60% rCF.
The day included a presentation of the pilot project under development and a tour of our facilities, highlighting the activities carried out from January 1st to the end of June. We shared some featured photos:
