At this special time of year, the Christmas spirit is felt more intensely. We spoke with one of the company's veterans, an administrative professional who has been part of our daily life for many years and who embodies the values and warmth of this company like no one else. Today, we sit down with her to learn more about her story and experience.
What makes you most proud of your work since you've been here?
What gives me the greatest satisfaction day to day is doing my job well. I'm motivated by solving the problems that arise through any communication channel and by making tasks easier for my colleagues, clients, and suppliers, especially in the purchasing area. Every day is different and brings new challenges, and overcoming them is what truly fulfills me.
After the fire we suffered this year, tell us something positive that came out of it.
We all stayed on the front line. We have risen like the phoenix, and here we are, standing firm. There is perseverance, consistency, and strong team led by a great captain who pulls us forward and guides us in the same direction. Unity has made us stronger in the face of adversity like this. We haven't stopped working a single day, always looking for solutions with effort and commitment.
What human value does teamwork bring compared to situations like remote work?
Working with people brings me values such as learning, patience, empathy, complicity, and camaraderie. There's also mutual recognition for a job well done. These things you don't experience in the same way when working from home: small anecdotes, moments, shared over a coffee or a snack that create connection and trust. All of this strengthens the team.
What hidden effort in the process would you like the client to know about?
We have a very advanced management, production and accounting system that allows us to provide clients with detailed and precise information to make their control easier. Through the product code or order number, we take care of every detail so they have all the possible conveniences. In addition, telephone support provides closeness and reflects the respect we have for both the client and the supplier.
How would you describe the essence of production work in one sentence?
Sometimes challenging, sometimes calm, with workload peaks that set the pace of day-to-day life. Each day is an unknown.
What do you remember about Felo, Rafael's father?
He was very fond of coffee: he had a black coffee in the morning and another in the afternoon. He always supervised our work, especially invoicing and spare parts for the machinery workshop, even many weekends. Although the company belonged to his son, Felo was very involved. Rafael, his son, has always allowed us to work with trust and closeness. He is a good person, has given us freedom, and has trusted the worker, making our day-to-day work more pleasant.
What work-related wishes do you have for this year?
To maintain harmony and camaraderie, that work and health never be lacking to carry it out. And peace, because with peace comes well-being.
What has your career at the company meant to you?
I have been very happy with my colleagues since I joined in 1991. It's been many years sharing experiences and moments. I also greatly value discretion: what is discussed in the company stays within the company.
