HILATURAS MAR Drives Technological Modernisation with the Support of the Valencian Regional Government

HILATURAS MAR, S.L. has carried out an investment project to modernise and expand its production processes, improve efficiency and meet growing demand, particularly in the agricultural sector.

The project involved the acquisition of new machinery for yarn twisting and winding, primarily for the manufacture of biodegradable cellulose yarns used as plant ties in horticultural and fruit crops.

The new equipment increases production capacity and enables the company to work with a wider range of yarn formats and specifications, improving precision, performance and process efficiency. This investment particularly strengthens the production of biodegradable and compostable solutions for the agricultural sector, helping to reduce waste generated during cultivation and facilitating natural degradation in the soil.

The project has received a grant from the Generalitat Valenciana (Valencian Regional Government) under the 2026 Aid Programme to Support Reindustrialisation Investments by SMEs in Various Industrial Sectors of the Valencian Community (INPYME 2026), under grant reference number INPYME/2026/426, with an awarded grant of €34,359.34.

Through this investment, HILATURAS MAR reaffirms its commitment to technological modernisation, sustainability, production efficiency and the development of innovative textile solutions for high-value-added markets.
